Truth be told I took my then 3 year old son with me to the 1st meeting with Stephanie and Lindsay. I never do it but this time due to a schedule confusion between me and my husband I had no choice but to bring my son along. I was pretty sure Lindsay and Stephanie wouldn’t hire a photographer who brings a child to the consultation. But guess what?! Stephanie is a midwife and Lindsay coaches kids soccer and they LOVE kids! I was so happy cause I truly adore photographing LGBTQ couples! (and since I want to photograph of more same sex couples I named this post is LGBTQ Chicago photographer for SEO reasons – please excuse the awkward title).

Stephanie and Lindsay chose Artifacts Events in Ravenswood for the location of this session. It was perfect intimate space where the couple could relax and openly express their love.

To see their wedding please check out this blog post.

If you want to see more of LGBTQ Chicago photographer wedding posts, please make sure to see Matt and Kevin’s elopement here.

When I think of Stephanie and Lindsay some lyrics from the Beatles “The End” comes to mind:

“…….. And in the end
The love you take
Is equal to the love
You make.”
